LED Taillight Installation Instruction

2005 - 2007 Scion TC
Step 1
Tools needed : Flat head screw driver, Phillip screw driver, 10 mm socket, 8mm deep socket, 8mm wrench
Step 2
Open the truck expossing the top of the bumper to remove the two phillip screws located at either end.
Step 3
Remove the two phillip head screws from the mud guard.

Repeat step for passenger side.
Step 4
Remove the plastic phillip head screw located underneath the mud guard.

Repeat step for passenger side.
Step 5
Remove the plastic push pins located underneat the bumper.
Step 6
Remove the 10 mm srew.



Repeat step for passenger side..
Step 7
Pull the side of the bumper off.


Repeat step for passenger side.
Step 8
Pull the bumper straight out.
Step 9
Remove the carpet pieces to expose the back side of the taillights.

Repeat step for passenger side.
Step 10
Unplug the wire harness from the taillight assembly.

Repeat step for passenger side.
Step 11
Remove the two 8mm nuts located at the bottom of the taillight assembly.

Repeat step for passenger side.
Step 12
Remove the 8mm nut located at the top of the taillight assembly.

Repeat step for passenger side.
Step 13
Pull the taillight straight out.
Step 14
Remove the wire harness from the taillight asembly.
Step 15
Remove the two bulbs from the biege sockets.
Step 16
Note: Do not remove the bulb from the reserve light socket.
Step 17
Remove the clip located at the bottom of the stock taillight.
Step 18
Connect the clip to the CG Distribution LED Taillight.
Step 19
Mount the resistor in a safe place were water will not get to it.
Step 20
Connect the pigtail from the taillight to the stock wire harness.
Make sure to match the ground to ground.
Step 21
Connect the pigtail from the taillight to the stock wire harness.
Make sure to match the ground to ground.
Step 22
Slide the CG Distribution LED Taillight into place and check fitment.
Step 23
Check all before installing the bumber and the hardware.
